- 4L80E Compatibility: Minor chassis trimming is required to clear the pan and transmission connector for this setup.
Accessory Drive:
- Power Steering Compatibility: Reuses BMW’s power steering pump and lines with minimal modification. N52 power steering lines bolt in directly, while N54 lines may need slight bending for clearance. For M3 models, additional modifications may be necessary.
- Alternator Mounting: High-position top-mount bracket supports LS-style alternators (excluding Corvette models), providing ample engine bay space.
- AC Compatibility: This kit also allows for the use of the GM AC compressor and hardware, providing the option to retain air conditioning functionality with this accessory drive setup.
